WHAT IS BIM

DCW will focus on helping create an industry where BIM is 'Business as Usual'.  Providing practical learning for BIM practitioners and all those involved in the design, construction, and management of built assets.

We’ll be working again with the UK BIM Alliance to help drive Level 2 adoption, and the Centre for Digital Built Britain as they explore BIM Level 3 and beyond. DCW will feature over 30 hours of completely free BIM seminar content and workshops across our two theatres: the BIM Village and our brand new BIM Workshops classroom.

The exhibition will showcase the latest BIM software, and interconnected solutions. You’ll also have the opportunity to book in to a series of BIM workshops and clinics with our team of experts at our BIM Workshops.

BIM WORKSHOPS

In addition to the BIM Village this year, DCW will be partnering up with the UK BIM Alliance, BIM Regions, and BIM4's to run a series of clinics and workshops in our dedicated BIM Classroom.

Whilst the BIM Village will focus on the business imperatives and strategy associated with the adoption and implementation of BIM, the classroom sessions will focus on the technical detail of delivering BIM Level 2.

With dedicated sessions on the practicalities of BIM execution, you'll have the chance to ask more detailed questions and get in to the specifics of BIM delivery. Workshops will last 45minutes and places will be limited to first come first served.
