The session will give an insight into how SRM have driven the business in is digitalisation journey giving practical examples in how this was achieved and adopted into the culture of the organisation. The presentation will highlight the need for digital adoption buy which was fundamental for the business to evolve, how they have tackled developing current personnel skillsets, how engagement with all sectors and functional departments across the business has been conducted and how they have begun supporting their supply chain education. The business identified a digital culture was necessary to evolve the business to future proof the organisation, improve on its quality of delivery, enhance its appeal for attracting new talent and improved their productivity all to ensure there was greater out turn predictability and consistency. In the session it will showcase the mechanism and means created to benchmark and measure project BIM maturity levels mandated across projects and sectors. The overview will detail the groups set ambition of BIM maturity targets first for 2018 then for 2019. It will conclude how technology and data is now embedded as a key deliverable moving forward in the businesses new 5-year overall strategy in order to take forward the organisation.
