We are in a state of transition, we know we need to become more digitally enabled but with a focus on technology, standards and process who is thinking about the effect this has on us, as individuals? There is a real fear that roles will be replaced and experience discarded in this new world of digital construction which brings inherent emotional flux, so how can we make people feel protected? During this presentation Robert will discuss how people need to be at the centre of any change initiative but, especially, when it comes to technological change. He will discuss why BIM implementation has missed the mark in certain areas and why empathy holds the key to success as the industry moves forward.

This session will explore Why BIM hasn’t fully embedded in organisations, why digital transformation could fail, and why putting people before data needs to be the new priority for teams driving digital transformation.
