This session is about continuous survey of multiple assets over large areas for long periods of time of at least 5 years. This capability comes to the market as a response to the increasing necessity of asset managers to have a reliable & long-term monitoring system which provides with continuous assessment of their asset performance and condition. Satellite Structural Health Monitoring (S-SHMTM) is a new approach for efficient asset management based on the integration and modelling of satellite derived measurements of displacement (InSAR) with 3D Building Information Model (BIM) and other sources of data. This new capability is centred on development of early warning and prediction of structural deformation allowing asset condition to be highlighted, thus aiding decision making for multiple assets management.
