This session will focus upon University of Salford provision of the first undergraduate degree in Digital Construction, confirming industry needs & partnerships to deliver the same Built Environment demographics & requisite skillsets will be re-iterated; the ethos of the University of Salford Industry Collaboration Zones will be delivered, availing contextualised learning within the challenge of a live learning environment Core curricula together with digital & data specific modules will be explored, the parallel requirements of a digital skillset combined with the ability to critically analyse the data availed, the potential for innovation & critical thought The pending roles for a graduate of this programme will be defined, relating skillsets to all perspectives & all stages of the construction process; the potential for employment will be further discussed This programme is new & innovative & industry views will be actively sought This session will seek to provide role models from industry, young persons who are presently working within digital environments
