Construction Innovation Hub

We have all seen the amazing videos on YouTube and LinkedIn with robots carrying out all manner of tasks relevant to construction, but why aren’t we seeing them appearing on building sites or in off-site construction facilities?  This session will explore how concepts of Technology Readiness Level and the Hype Curve models can be used to establish how near term these technologies are.

It will also explore how robotics and automation are defined in terms of both physical and data processes before evaluating how they are being developed and applied across other manufacturing sectors.  This session is recommended for those who want to gain an insight into where technology is being developed specifically to meet the challenges of the construction and infrastructure sector and also what technology is already available to be deployed.
