The Networked Supply Chain: Three steps to help digitally transform your supply chain
The fragmented nature of the construction sector’s supply chain has long been a thorn in the side of government and industry as they attempt to streamline the sector. The recently published Construction’s Digital Front Line research report verifies this, with 59% of respondents citing that receiving and sending invoices is one of their biggest challenges, which is testament to the negative consequences of supply chain fragmentation.
However, the construction sector is increasingly awake to the benefits of digitally integrating supply chains. With over two-thirds seeing reduced costs as the major benefit of innovating their supply chain management and 65% citing better supplier relationships as one of the main benefits of digitally integrating their supply chains.
Just over half of professionals interviewed for the Construction’s Digital Front Line report felt that improving supply chain collaboration - and finding ways to standardise technology and processes within the sector - was a key factor if it is to fully take advantage of the digital revolution.
In this session, we will set out three practical steps that experience has shown are key to successfully transforming your supply chain. Join us to learn how to start your journey towards a networked supply chain.
