The gap between “how” work gets done and “what” is delivered is nowhere greater than in design and construction. Without the right technology, “how” the work gets done has created the biggest hurdle for construction to overcome. The promise of digital solutions is that information is accessible for all and redundant work processes can be automated, saving project teams valuable time by improving jobsite communication. However, without standards specific to construction, the creation of digital information is inconsistent. As technology continues to evolve and digital construction transforms the way project information is managed, the need for new standards is emerging.  This has led Bluebeam to become an advocate for its customers, to work with industry standard organisations and ensure their customers needs are understood so standards can be created or modified to achieve interoperability.

Attend this session to learn why technology providers like Bluebeam are partnering with contractors to align and better define standards around going digital.
