Digital Construction Week (DCW) are partnering with the Construction Innovation Hub and Centre for Digital Built Britain on a series of webinars, taking place each week this month. The sessions, which are part of the DCW Connect fringe series 2021 event, cover themes including digitalisation and behavioural change, sustainability, international BIM, digital twins and much more.
The free virtual event, which begins tomorrow (Wednesday 5 May), is hosted by the team behind Digital Construction Week (DCW) and features a month-long campaign of online activity focused on innovation and technology in the built environment.
Speakers include: Sarah Hayes, Change Stream Lead, National Digital Twin Programme; Nicola Pearson, Head of Skills and Knowledge Exchange, Centre for Digital Built Britain; Adam Matthews, Head of International, Centre for Digital Built Britain; Roger Grant, Executive Director, Building Information Management, National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS); Mike Turpin, Technical Advisor, Centre for Digital Built Britain; Alanna Gluck, Policy and Public Affairs Manager, Centre for Digital Built Britain; and many more.
Among the sessions on offer is Digitalisation & the Golden Thread (10.30am, Wednesday 12 May). In this webinar speakers David Philp, Digital Impact Director for Construction Innovation Hub, and Henry Fenby-Taylor, Head of Information Management for Centre for Digital Built Britain, will provide an introduction to the Construction Innovation Hub and its integrated projects of Golden Thread, Value Toolkit and Platform for Construction.
The event also features a schedule of exclusive virtual content from Digital Construction Week’s exhibitors and supporters, including 4PS, Enscape, Kubla Software, Morta Technology, Procore and This is Change.
Procore are hosting a panel discussion Visibility of performance: The building blocks for smarter construction (10.30am, Thursday 13 May), chaired by Stephanie Whittaker, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at BAM Construct UK and Work Group Lead for Foresighting for ENCORD. In this webinar a panel of experts including Rob Frank,
