Everton Stadium: Delivering a Docklands stadium through DfMA

Now open as the home of Everton FC, Hill Dickinson Stadium is one of the most significant stadium projects delivered in the UK in recent years. Built within a historic dock on the banks of the River Mersey, the project combined extreme site constraints with ambitious architectural and technical goals.

This presentation explores how BDP Pattern embedded Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) through computational design, enabling around 70% off-site fabrication across the façade, roof, and seating bowl. It will demonstrate how parametric workflows supported complex decision-making, de-risked construction, and contributed to the successful delivery of a Premier League stadium.
