The MIH is coming – why are policymakers backing it?

You’ve probably heard about The Manufacturers’ Information Hub (The MIH). But why are policymakers so keen to support this initiative? What makes it different?

A pan-European not-for-profit organisation owned by manufacturers, The MIH is run by manufacturers for the benefit of all users of their product information. The MIH platform will be a single access point for users of product data/information to draw the core interoperable information they need. It will also be a service provider for Digital Product Passports.

For this lively panel session, we have invited those policymakers and key industry representatives to put their cards on the table and explain to our sector why they advocate for The MIH. You will start to understand what it can offer to construction product information users across Europe, how it will unlock interoperable product information and what EU and UK initiatives it will enable, straight from the horse’s mouth.
