THE SKILLS HUB

2019 will see the return of our exclusive theatre and workshop space in partnership with CITB called the Skills Hub which will explore the future of skills in the built environment and the ways in which we can encourage new entrants into the industry.

The impact of innovation and technology in the built environment goes well beyond a specific product or process.  It holds the key to transforming and changing the face of our industry.  Representing a huge opportunity for the built environment and opening it up to a much broader and diverse pool of talent and skills.  Making the industry more appealing to new entrants that can help support and boost our workforce.

It also presents a challenge for the way we attract, train and upskill industry talent to make sure we retain and develop our expertise and that the UK stays at the forefront of the built environment.

The Skills Hub will feature seminars, workshops and speed networking sessions connecting industry with educators and influencers.  The CITB team will be available on the Skills Hub throughout the event to share latest insights, information on funding and how we can support your skills needs, so come and visit us.
