THE BIM VILLAGE
In partnership with the UK BIM Alliance. Submissions for this theatre should focus on helping 'make BIM business as usual'. We want a range of practical sessions demonstrating best practice in BIM. With applications from design all the way through to asset operation and maintenance.
These should again focus on making BIM business as usual. Submissions for this theatre however should take the form of more in depth classroom style workshops.
Submissions for Geo should go beyond data collection and show how geospatial solutions and asset data is helping drive greater efficiency, project delivery and asset management. We're also keen to explore the opportunities associated with smart cities, estates management, the future of transportation networks, machine controls, the connected site and more.
Visualisation will focus on the latest Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed reality technologies and how they can assist you in the design, construction, and operation of our built environment. Submissions should focus on practical applications, creating value for clients, and generating tangible returns. We're equally interested in the latest applications and technologies.
INDUSTRY 4.0 THEATRE
Submissions for this theatre should focus on the future of our built environment. Exploring but not limited to; IoT, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Automation, blockchain, cyber security, Additive Manufacturing, Computational Design, Wearable Technology, and much more.
THE TRANSFORMATION HUB
In 2018 we will be introducing a brand-new theatre and workshop stage called the Transformation Hub. The Transformation Hub will focus on business transformation rather than a specific trend such as BIM, Geo, Visualisation, or Industry 4.0. Topics we're interested in include; creating a culture of collaboration, understanding risk, the business case for innovation and tech, R&D, funding models, creating value, change management, business solutions, skills, education, upskilling and more.
THE DBE THEATRE
The Digital Built Environment Theatre will focus on opportunities linked to manufacture and assembly, offsite and DfMA and the products and materials used to create our built assets. We'll be looking for innovative and practical examples of how digitisation is helping change the way we operate as an industry shifting focus from traditional building to more modern methods of construction.
THE TECH STAGE
The Tech Stage is open to our exhibitors and sponsors only. Entries for this theatre will open late April/ early May 2019.
