Alessio MAGGI is Bouygues UK Methods Manager, in charge of improving BIM for Civil Works process. Alessio obtained his master degree in Building Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He started his career in an architectural firm in Italy, then hold various positions in Italy and in France as engineer in charge of construction sites, methods engineer, senior engineer and deputy manager for methods, temporary works and planning. His different roles led him to apply and develop his BIM skills on many Housing, Healthcare, Commercial and Property complex projects, training teams and mobilizing energy around the increased use of BIM tools to maximize safety and efficiency. Since 2016, his expatriation with Bouygues led him to work on the 1bn £ Battersea Power station project and take the responsibility for BIM 4D, improving the tools, using immersive technology and leading adoption across the company.
