Gary Morrison, Technical Director, is an experienced leader responsible for enterprise asset infrastructure strategy, design management and technical governance across a complex, safety-critical environment within Portsmouth Naval Base where the principles of Asset Management are central to enterprise transformation and improved business performance.
With a background in engineering leadership and organisational change, Gary has led transformation initiatives that use Asset Management as a unifying framework to connect people, processes, tools and information across the business and the wider Portsmouth enterprise to create a single source of truth. This has enabled effective decision-making, and delivered measurable enterprise value through data-led Asset Management. In particular, his experience includes developing enterprise demand analysis and Masterplanning maturity, embedding interconnected digital asset systems, and establishing governance models that support data-driven and risk-based investment for long-term value creation.
