Javier Alonso Madrid studied at the School of Architecture of Madrid ETSAM of the Polytechnic University UPM and gained a PhDoctorate in New technologies applied to Architecture titled "Parametric architecture: methodologies, strategies and instruments." Javiery has worked on projects in 14 countries mainly within housing, dotacional and infrastructure. He is currently working on open projects in Uruguay, Panama, Mexico, Norway, Vietnam. Javier is an expert in BIM Methodology (Building Information Modeling) with more than a decade of experience.He is an Adviser of the College of Architects of Madrid COAM and of the Superior Council of Architects CSCAE; a member of the national commission of BIM of the Ministry of Public Works, the committees of AENOR and Spanish representative in the European commission drafter of the international norms ISO on BIM and its translation or transposition Spain. Director and professor in several Masters on this subject.
