Pioneered the internet industry in Latin America with ImageMaker, a company he founded in 1995 at age 15, that later became an award-winning web development agency working with some of the largest clients in the continent. He sold this company at age 24.
In 2005 he developed a blogging addiction and founded FayerWayer, which since 2011 is the #1 Spanish-language blog in the world (source: Bitacoras). With FayerWayer as the cornerstone he co-founded Betazeta a technologyapplied media company, that used natural language processing and machine learning to become the largest network of independent content communities in Latin America. In 2017 Betazeta was acquired by Metro International, the world's largest newspaper, based in Sweden.
From 2015 to 2018 he was CEO of the Santiago Maker Space, the first fab lab in Chile where he had been a founding member since 2012.
Since 2018 he is the Founder and CEO of Odd Industries, using his obsession with unstructured data and artificial intelligence to work with the least digitized industrial customers — Construction, Forestry, Shipping, etc — to help them become data-driven organizations.
He is currently on the board of Odd, Awto and Fundación Vivir Más Feliz.
He has been selected an Endeavor Global Entrepreneur (2009), Latin Entrepreneur of the Year (2012), Chilean Entrepreneur of the Year (2011), The GOOD 100 (2013), 30 under 30 (2008), 100 Young Leaders (2006), Top 100 International Web Developers (2001), amongst other recognitions, and has been invited to speak at major venues including Singularity University (California), SXSW (Texas), TEDx Santiago (Chile), Campus Party (Brazil), La Red Innova (Spain), OMExpo (Brazil and Spain), FIIS (Chile), WebCongress (Miami), ICARE (Chile) and CLAC Expo (China).
