Associate Architect & Head of BIM, BakerHicks
Trevor Strahan is an architect who has pushed the use of technology throughout his career and thereby developed three-dimensional modeling skills through the creation of many 3D, 4D, 5D and 6D models. This experience and knowledge led to Trevor sitting on the Morgan Sindall BIM Steering group. In 2017 Trevor was appointed Head of BIM for BakerHicks where he’s focused on pushing forward modelling capability within the business, maximising the use of BIM and delivering valuable asset datasets to clients, allowing more efficient facilities management. He leads an internal task group focused on a three streamed BIM strategy to ‘deliver value using digital and virtual technology to benefit everyone’. These efforts have resulted in development of a unique BIM system and workflows to suit the BakerHicks multi-disciplinary design consultancy business which subsequently achieved BSi BIM Level 2 accreditation.
