The Construction Innovation Hub at DCW will focus on transforming construction through digital and advanced manufacturing technologies
This year’s Digital Construction Week will feature a brand new and exclusive theatre delivered in partnership with the recently launched Construction Innovation Hub. Visitors can look forward to two days of free seminars and workshops, which will explore how we can change the way buildings and infrastructure are designed, manufactured, integrated and connected within our built environment.
The Construction Innovation Hub brings together world-class expertise from the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), Building Research Establishment (BRE) and the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) to transform the UK construction industry.
Launched in November 2018, the Hub is funded through a £72 million from UK Research and Innovation’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and aims to change the way buildings and infrastructure are designed, manufactured, integrated and connected within our built environment.
The Hub will be a catalyst for change. Driving collaboration to develop, commercialise and promote digital and manufacturing technologies for the construction sector. Helping build smarter, greener and more efficient buildings much faster and cheaper than we currently do.
