WHAT IS VISUALISATION

Technology has revolutionised the way in which we visualise the built environment and the world around us.  Innovative technologies such as 3D Modelling, Mapping, and Rendering, Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed reality allow us to see and interact with our projects offering greater insight and understanding of environments we are creating and maintaining.

As we move towards a more data rich built environment the power of these technologies grows.  Allowing us to create more complex environments and scenarios.  They also allow us to better plan, deliver, and maintain our built assets.

We’re now truly beginning to recognise the power of these innovative new methods of visualisation and the opportunities they represent, including optioning at design stage, health and safety training, site management, stakeholder communications and project collaboration.

The Visualisation theatre will explore how these technologies and processes can support you with real life case studies, best practice, and live demos helping you understand the future of visualisation for the built environment.

THE VISUALISATION THEATRE

Visualisation at DCW will explore the application of 3D Modelling, Mapping, and Rendering, Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality technologies and the next stage of their development as they move from a design tool into the realms of building construction, operation and even training and education.

The theatre will include interactive and immersive demos allowing you to experience first-hand how these revolutionary technologies could be applied to your own work - expect to get hands on with the latest technology including the Microsoft HoloLens, Oculus, Magic Leap and much more.

Our two day seminar programme will show you how to derive real value from these technologies and processes.
