This session explores how digital transformation in construction is driven as much by people and perspectives as by technology.
Drawing on his experience as a Digital Consulting Apprentice, Paul Watson-Peters shares how learning on the job and early exposure to live projects can bring fresh perspectives that challenge established ways of working, support innovation, and strengthen long-term digital capability. It highlights how apprenticeships can play a meaningful role in digital transformation – not just simply as an entry route, but as a way of developing adaptable, capable professionals in real project environments. Attendees will gain insight into how organisations can better integrate and develop emerging talent by prioritising mindset, adaptability and the ability to learn alongside technical skills, helping teams deliver lasting value in digital construction.
