Paul Watson‑Peters is an award‑recognised Digital Consultant Degree Apprentice at Mott MacDonald, with nearly three years of hands‑on experience supporting the digital delivery of major infrastructure projects. Having completed a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Information Management, Paul is now undertaking a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions, combining academic study with real‑world project delivery.

At just 20 years old, Paul has contributed to large, complex programmes and developed a strong practical understanding of how digital tools, information management and people intersect on infrastructure projects. His work and approach have been recognised through nominations as a finalist for NCE Apprentice of the Year 2024 and the SPOTLIGHT Rail Awards 2026.

Beyond project delivery, Paul is an active member of the Apprentice Ambassador Network, a government‑supported initiative promoting apprenticeships. He regularly engages with schools and industry events, advocating for apprenticeships as a powerful route into digital and construction careers.

Paul is passionate about challenging traditional entry routes into digital construction and sharing practical insights on how apprenticeships can help organisations build future ready digital capability.
