Dr Mohammad Mayouf is an established academic and practitioner in the field of digital construction, with over a decade of experience spanning higher education, consultancy, and international collaboration. He currently serves as Associate Professor and Subject Lead for the Digital Built Environment at Birmingham City University, where he leads curriculum development and interdisciplinary engagement across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Dr. Mayouf is also a Visiting Professor at Zigurat Global Institute of Technology in Spain. Dr Mayouf has played a key role in delivering and advising on major research initiatives across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, focusing on smart asset management, digitally enabled sustainability, and regulatory transformation in construction. His work has been supported by leading funders, securing over £1 million in research funding including the British Council, UKRI, the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF), and Erasmus+, with a particular emphasis on applied innovation and contextual impact.
