Anna is the founder of We Build Too, an initiative focused on empowering women in construction and improving the industry for everyone. Drawing on a background in user-centred research and design, she works with tradeswomen, learners, educators and employers to understand the real barriers women face in entering, staying and thriving in the sector and to translate those insights into practical change.

We Build Too is at an early but critical stage: building community, creating clearer pathways into construction, and developing the foundations for gender-segregated data that doesn’t yet exist in a joined-up way. Anna has led research, strategy and communications across public, private and third sector projects, and brings a grounded, practitioner-focused approach to digital transformation and culture change. Her work centres on a simple idea: when we design workplaces, systems and experiences that work for women and underrepresented groups, we build a stronger, more innovative industry for all.
